1. Who We Are

Mecaparts is a digital platform developed to help auto parts professionals streamline catalog management, vehicle compatibility, and product integration with e-commerce systems such as Shopify.

The service provides vehicle selectors, bulk import capabilities, and TecDoc-powered search functionality.

2. Eligibility

To use Mecaparts, you must:

• Be eighteen (18) years or older
• Represent a business entity
• Possess legal capacity to enter agreements

Registration confirms your authority to act on behalf of your organization.

3. Account Creation & Responsibilities

Accounts require accurate information during registration. You must protect your login credentials and report suspicious access immediately.

The platform bears no responsibility for unauthorized account activity except when caused by platform negligence.

4. Platform Usage

Prohibited activities include:

• Copying platform content without authorization
• Reverse engineering code
• Disrupting systems or services
• Unlawful use of the platform

Mecaparts reserves authority to restrict or suspend access for violations of these Terms.

5. Features & Tools

Mecaparts provides three core features:

• Vehicle Selector: Link products to compatible vehicles
• Bulk Import: Rapid product uploads and management
• TecDoc-Based Search: Access to automotive data

The platform reserves the right to modify or remove features at any time.

6. Pricing, Subscriptions & Payments

Paid subscriptions require advance billing with automatic renewal. Non-payment may trigger account suspension or deletion.

Pricing changes are permissible with advance notice to subscribers.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, code, and designs belong exclusively to Mecaparts or its licensors. Commercial use requires written authorization.

8. Confidentiality

Users must not disclose confidential information such as development notes, technical specifications, or proprietary data to third parties.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

Operations comply with GDPR and similar regulations. Detailed policies are available in our Privacy Policy.

10. Termination & Suspension

Users may close their accounts by emailing contact@mecaparts.app.

The platform may suspend or terminate access for violations, payment failure, or harmful conduct.

11. Disclaimers

Services are provided "as is and as available." The platform disclaims liability for outages, third-party data inaccuracies, and user errors.

12. Limitations of Liability

Indirect damages are excluded. Total liability is capped at payments made during the preceding twelve (12) months.

13. Changes to Terms

Updates activate upon the effective date change. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

French law governs these terms. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Lyon, France.
