Show customers on the product page whether a part fits the vehicle they selected with the Mecaparts Vehicle Fit block.
Overview
The Vehicle Fit is a Mecaparts extension designed to help your customers identify whether a product is compatible with the vehicle they have selected. This feature appears directly on the product page, providing instant feedback about compatibility without additional steps.
Add Vehicle Fit to the product page
To add the Vehicle Fit extension to your store, follow these steps:
- Go to the theme customization from the Shopify Admin, as shown below:
- Go to the product page, then search and add the Mecaparts Vehicle Fit extension, as shown below:
- Compatibility messages (e.g., ‘Fits with’ or ‘Doesn’t fit with’) are automatically translated into your store’s default language:
How it works
When a customer visits a product page, the Vehicle Fit extension instantly checks if the product is compatible with the selected vehicle:
- Compatible products: A green message appears, confirming that the product fits the selected vehicle.
- Incompatible products: A red message appears, indicating that the product does not match the vehicle.
By using the Vehicle Fit extension, you ensure your customers have a clear and confident shopping experience, knowing they are buying the right parts for their vehicles.
